ASHLEE SIMPSON SORRY :

Pop singer Ashlee Simpson is apologizing to her hubbys ex-girlfriend Michelle Trachtenberg after launching a vicious verbal attack on the star at a party in Los Angeles California on Monday evening. Ashlee attended the DJ Hero party at L.A.'s Wiltern Theater with her husband Pete Wentz, and the pair were seated close to the "Gossip Girl" star, who dated Wentz before his marriage.


Ashlee is alleged to have been furious about the slip-up, with a close source telling celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, "She (Simpson) was staring directly at Michelle and starting hurling insults at her.


Pete looked mortified."Guests then allegedly restrained Simpson when the scrap escalated. And now a spokesperson for the singer has issued a statement about the incident, insisting Simpson has since made peace with Trachtenberg and has apologized for her behavior.
