Since we are looking at an Intel solution, let's give the Intel - AMD war a break. Also, since our aim is to build a cheapest PC based on the Pentium 4 CPU, we need the cheapest of its kind available here through official channels. The Pentium 4 1.8 GHz processor fits our bill to perfection. Make sure it's a Box Pack with a 3-year warranty.
