Samsung’s Alias 2 :

Samsung and Verizon Wireless announced the Alias 2.
The Alias 2 also has a 2 megapixel camera with video capture, Bluetooth with A2DP support, visual voicemail, and support for 16GB microSD cards.

The Alias 2 (U750) is a second take on the original messaging phone that brings with it a major revision to the QWERTY keyboard. It retains the dual-hinge, but uses e-ink for the keyboard rather than traditional buttons. When the Alias 2 is opened like a traditional clamshell, the e-ink shows a regular numeric dialpad. When it is opened sideways, the e-ink transforms into a full QWERTY keyboard.

Motorola QA1 Karma :

Motorola QA1 Karma confirmed for AT&T

The confirmation that the largest North American GSM carrier will release the following phones: Motorola QA1 Karma, Sony Ericsson C905a and Samsung Jack i637.

Optical drive: Lite-On/LG 52X CD-ROM Drive :

A ROM drive today is a bare necessity. Since we don't want to unnecessary build up the budget, I reffer you to go for a standard 52X CD-ROM drive. LG or Lite-On would be a good choice of brands. If you don't care of your budget and you want to go for the best then I would advise you to spend another 1200 bucks and go in for a 16X DVD-ROM drive or a 48X/52X CD-Writer as they have more functionality to offer and can double up as a CD-ROM drive as well.

Sony Ericsson K810i :

Sony Erricsson phones might be sold less in India comparativley to Nokia but it is slowly slowly giving a great competive to Nokia.

One think i like about the Sony Ericsson phones is that about their sound clearity which makes this phone to lead in the front of others.

Easily one of the best camera phones that the Swedish company made; the K810i still rocks even after two years of being in existence. The K810 has wonderful picture quality, which is complemented by the awesome xenon flash that makes it a great tool for photographing in the dark. Colors are natural and exact, which will definitely please the purists. Macros, which have always been a forte of Sony Ericsson phones, are delivered with aplomb.

The 3.2 megapixel resolution might not seem much, but for all practical purposes it is more than enough for a mobile phone. You also get a convenient lens cover, which will start the camera when slid open and protect the lens when closed. Only major flaw that I can point out is the low resolution video recording. But apart from that this phone lives up to the Cyber-shot brand name, and at Rs. 10,000, you cannot get a better camera phone.

RAM: 256 MB DDR-266 Memory :

In fact, if you have a few more bucks to spare, opt for a 512 MB stick and the performance boost that you will get is well worth the amount you invest in it.256 MB of DDR RAM is an absolute minimum today. So do not settle for anything less. There will be a significant performance drop if you opt for anything less than 256 MB.

Speakers: Artis S11 Amplified Stereo Speakers :

Now this is the major part of the PC aginst multimedia where I think you must not compromise with the budget and go for a good one,If and only If you have the madness towards listning the music.Your multimedia kit is incomplete without a decent pair of speakers. On a tight budget, I would recommend the Artis S11 speakers. These are certainly not for audiophiles, but with a rated maximum output of 440 Watts PMPO, they deliver more than what you expect of a 500 rupees speaker system. There are several speaker reviews on this site for the audio enthusiasts. But be prepared to spare a few more bucks if you want better quality.

Kia Cerato Forte :

Designed by Peter Schreyer, the new Kia Cerato Forte exudes a more aggressive presence with its gaping black grille and strong creases that compliments the car’s overall shape....

A lot of money was spent to launch the new Cerato Forte. Is it going to be a flop, or will this car be a good example of money well spent?

Sony/Samsung 1.44 MB Floppy Drive :

I will be suprised if someone asks for the floppy drive and I don't want to mention why if and only if you are not dumb enough to understand it.I will just say to you --> Buy one if you need one.

Logitech/Samsung/BenQ Basic Keyboard :

Yaaaaaaa this is the must need for the PC and I don't want to imagine how the computer works without this. Do I need to say anything here still !! just go for this, the primary need for the PC.???

D-Link 56 Kbps Internal Modem :

Ya you might think that i am still sticking towards an old techology as there are already an built-in lan provided on a motherboard.

But I will advise this to those peole who want to make a connection to internet via dial-up process of MTNL. ie...,Buy one if plan to use dial up Internet or you plan to?.

A decent looking cabinet with 300 Watts of power is all you need to hold your components together. And if you aren't looking at multiple hard drives and ROM drives, 300 Watts should be adequate power.

Hard Drive: 40 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM drive :

The prices of hard drives have come down crashing, due to the fall in the market, So make the most of it. If you don't have madness about storing stuffs in your PC then 40 GB is enough and you can make the most of it. So opt for the biggest hard disk that you can afford. Look at nothing lesser than a 40 GB with 7200 RPM. An 80 GB would be an ideal choice for today's generation as not only does it give you twice the space but also costs you just Rs. 700 more.

Samsung/ LG 17" Colour Monitor (Rs. 6,500) :

Today, choosing a monitor smaller than 15" is plan stupidity, So the recommended size from me would be 17", which will cost you Rs. 1,600 more than Samsung/ LG 15" Colour Monitor.

Motorola ZINE ZN5 :

Video recording, however, is once again a weak point for the ZN5. Priced at Rs. 15,800 the ZN5 is terrific value for money and a superb camera phone.Motorola shied away from camera phones for a long time, conveniently ignoring it and equipping its phones with the same old boring 2 Megapixel camera. But then they finally thought enough was enough and decided to make an entry into the camera phone market. And what a device they chose to make that entry!

The picture quality rocked and even taught long time camera phone makers Sony Ericsson and Nokia a thing or two about making camera phones.

br>
Motorola partnered with Kodak for the software part but the hardware is their own.

br>
The 5 megapixel sensor captures superb details, but what really impresses are the lush warm colors that bring the images to life. At night the brilliant xenon flash comes to the rescue and the lens cover protects the lens from scratches and dust.

Resident Evil 5 :

The series was getting a little repetitive but Resident Evil 4's success kept the brand alive and kicking.

Resident Evil 5 takes the best out of Resident Evil 4 and evolves it into a gorgeous follow-up that is too good to be true.

The game has everything that the series missed, including co-op gameplay and a new setting. This is one major franhcise that was reborn with its last offering -Resident Evil 4.
